Just had a quick look. I'll come back. What is a Cornish chap doing in Hornchurch? The Essex types seem to head for Cornwall & Devon. I am checking for Corrock (Corroux)that settled in the west country. Regards MR.

Mary K Leitner nee Prideaux in Atwood, Kansas, USA at 5:49:16 Saturday September 11 99
My great grandfather, John Prideaux, came to the U.S. with 3 brothers. I believe they were from Sheffield, England. I'm new to computers and to genealogy. I would like to know if anyone can help trace my roots. I'd also like to know how Prideaux was pronounced. If you know of any Prideaux's I'd love to hear from them. Two of the brothers stayed and two went back to England. The time was around 1860. John Prideaux was born in Cornwal, England June 20, 1844 and died in Norton, Kansas May 13, 1919. I love your HomePage. I'll visit again. I'd love to know more about the Cornish people. Best of luck and happiness to you and your's, Sincerely, Mary K. Looking for information on Tallack families. Trying to piece their tangled web together. Seem to qualify as 'strays' as most seem to be born in Cornwall, but take wives from Portsmouth, London, etc.

Me again, Cousin. I would like to enter a GOOD map of Cornwall into my Flamank web page . I have a road map but it is far too large to do anything with. Can you help a Canadian Cousin with a Map via e-mail, please? Oggie! Oggie! Oggie! John D. (Jack) Flamank .

Just refreshing my bookmarks and thought I would say "hello". Trying to confirm ia the PRO web site that two of my ancestors (Flendrensis (Flamank)were member of Parliament for Bodmin, Cornwall during the 1400's. I did obtainthe data from some UK source but I mislaid it before I could enter it onto my Flamank Web page. In any event, Greetings from Canada's most Western Province, British Columbia. Oggie!
