I'll be back when I have more time. I've got what I wanted (to perfection) being
the meanings of place names in Cornwall. Next I'll go on to Cornish surnames.
Keep up the good work. Cheers, Geoff

Good effort.Thought your description of the destruction of the Cornish Fishing
Industry by the EEC a little bit gentle ! How about a Cornish Nationalist point
of view......somebody needs to sort out the contemptuous way in which the
Cornish are treated by the English.Maybe you coud direct me to that web loc.
Otherwise as a fellow Cornish Exile to another all the best. Regards ED

My great grandfather William Husband came from I believe Redruth to Sharon PA

been there!!

I found your site through a genealogy list. My father was born in Scotland,
however my mother's family came from Cornwall and thus the reason for my
interest. I have traced my grandmother's family (Rosevear) to St Austell. I have
been unable to locate my grandfather's family although they were from Cornwall
also.

Alan-- I sent you the other e-mail before I knew you had a web page! I love the
summer's eve- ning photo, too. Do you belong to your church choir? My
requirement for choir membership is: BREATHING. As my friend Sandy says:
"If you can breathe, you can sing! Anyway, I hope to meet you when we come
to England next year (we'll be at All Saints Church, Leighton Buzzard, in
Bedfordshire, 39 miles outside London) on Pentecost Sunday (I think you call it
"Whitsuntide" in Great Britain). Then we'll be at St. James the Less
Church up in Penicuik, Scotland for Trinity Sunday. Anyway, you have a great
website!
